Hi there! My name is Mrs. Hinz, and I teach elementary music! (My last name is pronounced 'heinz', yes, like the ketchup...)
This year is going to be a great year! Especially because I will be teaching Music Education to ALL South Lake Elementary students!
Here's a little info about me..
I graduated from Concordia University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. I have been teaching music for five years and have taught every grade and category of music, from Marching Band to Hand Bells and even AP Music Composition! My favorite instrument to play is my drumset, which I have been playing since I was six years old. My favorite instrument to teach is the tuba (because its sound makes everyone laugh 
). My favorite place in the world is actually a musical place, called Interlochen Center for the Arts. As a high school student, I studied choral music at Interlochen Arts Camp, and even experience a summer there as a camp counselor!
